I've been taking photography seriously for the past year and half, to the extent that away from my day job this is what I do, if i'm not taking photographs i'm editing which luckily enough I love too.
I also try to get my work seen by as many as possible so I post on Twitter, Flickr,Google+, Instagram and have set this website up to do this.
What I get from this is a sense of achievement when people 'like' my work, I I would like more feedback as I feel this will help me improve my photography.
I've read books , magazines and watched videos on how to photograph these are all good and give you the perfect grounding for your photography, best of all is practise you can't beat taking photographs, trying new settings different types of shot, BREAKING THE RULES, they say there are rules and there are but if you fee some are not for you and you find some settings and style that suts you go for it ...it's the end result that counts .....
I've had work shown and used in magazines (online) and on STV Glasgow website and a feature on their TV channel which for me is fantastic ..
here's a couple if you haven't seen them.....
